Legislature Prepared to Override Veto of SB 1685

Gov. Brad Henry vetoed SB 1685 today.  I guess since he's term-limited and looking for a new job that he doesn't need his "A" rating from the NRA anymore.

However, Sen. Randy Brogdon (author of the bill) is leading the charge to override the veto.  It shouldn't be too difficult considering that it passed the Senate 39-3 and the House 81-14.  But it would have to perform almost as well as it did before in the House because it contains an Emergency Clause that requires 3/4 in favor.
