Obama Administration Wants to See Your Internet Records Without a Warrant

So really, what's new?

The Obama Administration wants to "grant power" that already exists. While I do agree that it is an invasion of privacy and inherently wrong, there is nothing new here.

The sources of information that this video is referring to are third parties that store your information. The Supreme Court has upheld over and over again that it is perfectly fine for law enforcement to gather information about you from third parties without a warrant under the Fourth Amendment. Hoffa v. United States, 385 US 293 (1966) is probably the most famous of these cases.
